New Date for Kurling for Kids

UPDATE – The K4K Bonspiel has been moved to March 7th, 2026. Registration will reopen in the New Year and we’ll provide event updates as they become available. Thank you for your support so far! 

 

The Altona Curling Club is welcoming Kurling for Kids back for its second year. Building on last year’s success, this one day, “fun”spiel raises money for the BTHC Foundation and the emerging pediatric department at the hospital. The event is coming up Saturday, March 7th and open to curlers of all ages and abilities.

What does a K4K bonspiel look like?

  • Individual curler registration is $75. Curlers are asked to raise a minimum of $200.

  • Each team is guaranteed 2-6 end games.

  • Lunch and supper provided.

  • There will be fundraiser incentives, as well as 50/50 and prize raffle tickets for purchase.

Kurling for Kids comes to Altona

Altona, are you ready to rock? The BTHC Foundation is honored to be the recipient of Manitoba’s first ever, Kurling for Kids fundraising event. Hosted by the Altona Curling Club on Saturday, November 16th, this one day “fun”spiel is a chance for players of all ages and abilities to come together and raise funds for the emerging pediatric program at BTHC. Whether you’re a seasoned curler or a first timer, everyone is welcome to join the fun and make a difference!

K4K is a completely volunteer-driven organization, and the move to Manitoba is a tremendous milestone as they expand beyond Quebec, where they’ve proudly raised over $5 million for children’s hospitals.
